In support of Project PROTHO at the Audubon Center at Francis Beidler Forest, we purchased two Flip video cameras to produce training video clips and capture various aspects of the project, including the stars...the Prothonotary Warblers (Protonotaria citrea)!
Today, was a training day on the canoe trail for the new seasonal naturalist, Mac Stone. We brought along the video camera to practice the filming, editing, and web uploading. It was bright on the canoe trail through the old-growth, cypress-tupelo swamp as the leaves have yet to appear. Therefore, the video is overexposed, but higher-quality videos will surely follow.
